What the hell...

Yes it is not BMW.. But old school fords did have their days and still do... These are very rare!! Well done :blowheart::blowheart::blowheart:

I don't mind having a Mk1 Escourt, Fordv8 Capri & XLE big 6 in my garage :blowheart:
That makes the 2 of us...My exact old-school garage that I want as well!

Hi Members,

Here are some updated photo's of the Sport.

I entered the car in the George Old Car Show that took place on 11 Feb 2023.

The center lock adaptors for the Hayashi wheels had to be refinished as I did not oil them up when I put the wheels into storage. The wheels went back onto the car with a new set of tyres and the car went back to Bouchers that did the paintwork to get ceramic coated.
It was a 626km round trip and the car used 54L of fuel which equates to 11.6km/L, I was surprised at the consumption as I was expecting around 9 to 10km\L. We picked up one stone chip along the way but it's one of those things, I need to use the car, it was not built to be a garage queen.

There were some quality cars at the GOCS but the high light of the trip for me was the drive to George and back.

Hi Members,

Yearly update.

I attended the GOCS 2024 in Feb.

Everything leading up to the car show was just one big PITA. But, in the end, I made it, Drove to George and back to PE without any major issues. I took the R102 from just after the Van Stadens bridge and got back onto the N2 by Eerste Rivier, it was my first time driving that road and I have to say, I'll take it every time from now on.

Below is one pic from the GOCS and the other 3 photos someone else took at an EPVCC meet 2 weeks later. The Sport next to mine is painted in BMW Brilliant Red whereas my car is the original Ford Venetian Red.

I saw this car at the GOCS..... It was parked almost in the corner of the field.

AMAZING condition!!! And the attention to detail is next level. Well done!
Pity I couldnt speak to you, because I wouldnt be able to identify the person attached to the car. lol
