Very nice pick up, looks like the full package. You just need the OEM xenon headlights now, I have a set if you're interested.

Thanks Gizmo... Actually not the full package, i would have liked the rear blinds and pdc's but i suppose its things that i can live without... Xenons i would love. What the cost of them and would it be a straight fit?
I want R2500 fitted, I also install the capacitors to fix the low beam failure fault.

Is that including the headlight itself or does it use my existing headlight?

Oh yes, lovely color! And 6 speed! Wish I waited for a 6 speed box.

It even says "Individual" so you don't forget what trim package you got. :mmm:

Not that difficult to convert to 6spd. The E87 and E90's 6spd box is the same as the E46 6spd. Gearbox R5000, propshaft shortened R1000, 240mm clutch plate R300.

Really? Doesn't sound too bad, even with labor. Wouldv'e thought such a conversion would be more expensive...

Mr_Arbee, you must be the man who's finance they were waiting for. I also went to drive this car(don't worry, I was very gentle), and wanted to buy it, but then your finance was approved. In a small way I should hate you for it - just joking - but I'm glad because it lead me to mine I bought this Tuesday. I really wanted a black interiour, and I personally prefer my colour, but you got yourself a very good car I'm sure. I must say I'm jealous of the low kms and the 6th gear.

What a deal actually, I battled to find one in good nic for that price with many more kms on, and one less cog.

Congrats boet.

nice.....true about the golf(s). I have mine for 10 years (1 owner), still looks new like the day i bought it. My wife wants to get rid of it, I say NEVER....

What a small world... Sorry i stole this one away from you. Yes, Finance was taking too long cos i was negotiating for a better prime rate. Got what i wanted at the end...

I even managed to get the mplan re-instated after some talks with BMW. Only other thing i did was tinted the windows with a 35% smash and grab. I had to as i travel out of town a lot, dont want to get sunburnt and damage the leather...

Small world indeed, I went to see this car, aswell as the 330i from Monaco Motors. You have both got yourself fine cars there!

hey arbee
whats was the deal with the motorplan?

Hi,

Motorplan still valid on the 330. Checked with BMW SA Mplan division when i purchased the car.
The 5 year/100k km was to expire and the previous owner purchased the extended 2 year/120k km plan. Expires in august 2011. I dont think you can extend a plan longer than 7 years. I could be mistaken but il worry about that before it expires as i plan to keep this car for good.

Hope thats what you referring to!

Yep, on the E46 7 years is max.

On the E36, BMW used to allow extensions up to 9 years. My ex E36 M3 was under MP for 9 years - mileage was slightly below 100K when the 9 years expired

Nice Bru. I am a BMW woman through and through and have been exposed to BMW's since I was 5years old! I am so passionate about them, I am getting a tattoo of the BMW emblem! :pimp:

I must however agree, the Golfies are hardy little bastards! I have had my fair share of them and my favourite was a little nippy 1995 CTi - gun metal 1.8. Slapped a 288 cam in her ass and she was a pleasure. :excited: That car was driven hard everyday and up until the day she was sold (5 years later), she asked nothing more than her regular service!!
