Damn it has been a while, I think it's time for a update here...
Lets start: 3-4 Months in with the silver wheels, which I do agree looked fantastic, but unfortunately me being me my OCD couldn't stand these wheels being dirty 24/7. You can wash it and drive for one day and bam, full of brake dust. This is mainly due to the Blue M Sport brake kit on the car, they generate a lot of brake dust, but they are fantastic and I wouldn't change them for anything. So I decided to have the wheels sprayed again but this time in a very glossy black. Difficult to capture on photos, but black wheels being black wheels the car looked the same as before.
Next up - The M Performance decals on the side skirt has had it's days, it's been scratched from getting in and out of the car. I removed them with the intention of having them replaced, however once I removed them I loved the clean look without them and left it like that. Here is a very average pic with the gloss black wheels covered in brake dust again

and the decals removed:
After this, a lot has happened in my life in between. Got engaged, bought a house, saving for the wedding which happened March this year etc.... I didn't give the car much attention in this time for obvious reasons. However about 10 months after these wheels were redone in gloss black, exactly a year ago, I wanted something different and was given the opportunity to try out a set of M Performance 405M wheels (reps) which was gathering dust in a friends garage. To be honest, I wasn't sure if I would like these, but I wanted something else and had to give it a go. I ended up trading my old wheels for these as I really loved the OEM M Performance look, it really tied in well with the car seeing that it is a M Performance edt.
Shortly after this I decided to remove the dual slat kidney grills and revert back to the OEM single slat black grills which came with the car. I feel it just suited this car better
This is the current state of the car. In between I had to do the usual maintenance: oil service every 10k km, New OEM M Sport brake pads front and back. I also needed new tires all around, and after having and experiencing these Michelin PS4 S's I couldn't have anything else, so new set all around
I would also like to add, the car is still running the same stage 2 file done by Xcede Performance in 2018. I have had no issues and really enjoy the setup daily. At this point I wont change a thing, as I have learnt with my previous car, if something works for you don't touch it. This would probably be the car I will keep for a couple of years still, as I really still love this thing after 3 plus years of ownership and I honestly don't know what I would replace it with in the current price market. I would rather get something more practical (SUV) for the wife.
