Update: I had Sartor Brothers (Powercoat) ceramic coat my S50 exhaust headers inside and out, same treatment for the plenum chamber too. They finished the tappet cover in wrinkle black powdercoat with machined lettering.












While I was dressing up the engine I decided to try out some gold reflective tape from ATS Motorsport.

Its ceramic coated outside and in for heat insulation resulting in cooler IATs, was under 2k for the plenum.

Sorry for asking on your thread but I’ve got the same set up of an e36 M3 exhaust and headers at my disposal, my question is what is the best option between that and an aftermarket set preferably a powerpipes set. I’m assuming that the aftermarket set would be lighter as these are shit heavy.
