Really epic restoration build. Makes me somewhat nostalgic for my Baja buggy that I had as a first car. My boet had a Beach buggy.

Noticed the front disk brake setup. Are you putting some weight into the front because I remember my boets buggy was very prone to front wheel lock up. Not due to bad brake adjustment as much as simply low friction between tyres and road surface compounded by lack of weight:=): Rainy weather made for even more fun and games:rollsmile:

Eventually, we spent a weekend 'tweaking the setup. Filled up the front tube bumper and bolting on about 30kg of lead:roflol: It improved things quiet a bit.

I would imagine the disk brakes would be easier to modulate.:=):

Looking forward to the finished product:clapper:

I had a 1776cc with the following
69mm polished crank
engle 110 cam
solid rocker shafts
044 cylinder heads
36 DRLA Dellorto twin carbs
18 row oil cooler
Holley fuel pump and FPR
Bosch 009 Dizzy and screamer coil

Man i miss my bug

Some more progress on the Buggy build :rollsmile:

All wiring almost done, then onto final assembly and suspension setup, and then time to run in!
