MHD Flasher & JB4 tuning (N54/N55)

Give it a few months, will be out for the F series. But will need a bench flash first.

You can look into bootmod3 made by Protuningfreaks. They have a flashing solution for F series cars. Requires a one time DME unlock

I see the MHD BEF only works with the G5 board. I have the G4 board. Any other options for me? I don't want to spend money on the G5 just yet. I want to sell my G4 first in the near future.

Maybe a thread revival .

I bought into the MHD and am very happy for now

Loaded a stage 1 file and car feels allot better..

Dynod the car stock so i will redyno and see gains...Car really seems to full allot stronger from 3rd.

Well worth the money thus far.

I saw that a few people have issue with the pump flash on the Euro spec cars since the flash was designed for the USA cars

forgot to mention that i run BEF with jb4.

i run the pump flash as my daily flash. no issues to report.

no meth installed, but when i run the race and e85 flash i run a minimum of e50 and NF. personally i like the race flash over the e85 flash.

Have you driving daily on the E85 flash on regular pump fuel. Without going WOT at all.

It takes 2minutes to swop between flashes, I would rather have more octane and use pump flash, then use an aggressive flash and not have the octane/mods to back it up....

As one of the Rennzport members use to say, if you want a stable full of horses, you got to feed them well!

nope only ever flash the race or e85 BEF with a good fuel/eth mix. never run those flashes on pump fuel. wouldnt advise it.

I dont have MHD yet. Im trying to get a sense of the flashes on offer with the mods i have.

For example if i go on a race day and run an E85 flash with the right fuel, and then run out of eth on the way home and don't have time to flash the car for whatever reason, would i be safe driving the car on pump gas at legal speeds, not sure if the makes sense as to what im trying to get to.

just make sure you have extra eth in your boot :rollsmile:

but on a serious note, as Rosh mentioned, it will take 2 minutes to flash back to the pump flash.

I am seriously considering MHD Stage 2 flash as my next mod since I have CP, DP and intake now so she's officially boost ready!

They claim Average Power Levels 350-380HP (260-385kW) using a peak 14 to 18PSI (0.97-1.24 Bar) tapering to 11-12PSI (0.76-0.83 Bar)

But what excites me the most is this:
