MHD Flasher & JB4 tuning (N54/N55)

The .obb file is a system/application file. This file is created by the installer package when you download and install the application from the play store.
If you are looking for an .obb file you may be trying the download the app from a different source and trying to install it from a zip file or off your memory card.
This approach is not recommended. Even if somebody has released a hacked app promising free flash maps.
I suggest (if you have not already done so) you download the official app from the play store.
Connect your ODB2 cable to your USB OTG cable. then connect your USB OTG to your phone. Your phone may ask you to grant permission to the MHD app once started for the first time. Once connected try and read codes stored in the ecu to test the app.
You can also make a backup of your ECU without needing to purchase any licenses the last time I checked.

Go download the app off of the Play Store and pay for the flasher module like the rest of us have. Alternatively use the free Bimmerboost Windows app along with a BavTech cable to load the backend flash files.

Just an FYI.
There was a post of the N54Tech forum i read, where someone while loading a flash tune via MHD.Midway through the write process it stopped.
The guy could not get the car started. Tried several times to complete the flash but it did not work.
Eventually after getting some assistance from another follow forum member, he was able to load the flash and start the car.
The reason why it failed during the write process was because his phone was not in airplane mode. There was an interruption to his phone during the write process which messed up everything.
So if you using MHD turn your phone onto Airplane mode, until you complete the flash.
