M240i

Hi Guys

So realised after buying my 6 series that I actually still missed my 2 series, unfortunately lockdown made this a bit difficult. Nivs managed to hook me up with a 2018 Mineral White with red interior. A huge thank you to Nivern, Avin and Havashen at ABM for sorting my cab out in record time.

Since then have added a few extras:

Changed the mirror caps to carbon ones, had the black grilles installed and the MPE back box done as well.

Managed to get a rear diffuser and a M4 steering as well, thanks to RichardH for the assistance with the installation.

Would like to also have a carbon boot spoiler installed as well, will probably do this next.

Looks absolutely amazing, love it. I also have a mineral white one exactly like this just with black leather, the gloss black wheels and headlamp washer. Love the way it looks though, also considering the mperformance exhaust for mine.

Awesome ride   raise: owned a M235i and got my eye on a M240i or M2 after all this craziness settles. Heard the B58 in the 240 is super strong

They 2 VERY different cars...
I am betting on the 6 being very refined and all out luxury and boat drive with the power to match perfectly but basically muted...
Whereas the 2 series...is still a raw animal when needed, to chuck around the corners and have fun?

@"TopzedSA1" AshG108 summarized it pretty well, really nice cab to cruise around with but I missed the fun factor of the 2 and especially the ability to throw the back out when you wanted too.

Changed the exhaust on the 6 as well to the mperformance one but was still very muted compared to the 2.

Thanks gents, good to know - Surprising that the 6s sound was muted.
The fun/smile factor's a dealbreaker for me.
The 2s back definitely comes out fast, something i still need to get used to - especially when its unplanned
