Congrats again bud, I had the pleasure of driving a CP over a week or so and it really does shift the perspective of what a true all rounder can be.

So if you're following me on instagram you might have spotted this already:

I need to take some better pics: these were at night: However, the leather is back to new and treated with Gyeon Leather Shield. there wasn't anything "WRONG" with it: Just the usual need to clean, steam and treat, particularly in our COVID world where we are constantly using sanitiser and moisturisers etc etc.

The camera has a way of making the finish appear satin rather than a bit more matte or 'natural' - I will try to play around and take better ones but you get the idea.

I hadn't posted this here before:

The engine bay is substantially different vs. the F10 despite it being the same core motor: Engine covers aside (these really do make it feel like a special engine bay vs. the F10), there is a boost equalisation tube between the charge pipes (this was something F10 owners had been doing themselves). The AWICs are different and plumbed differently and there seems to be a lot more cooling that goes on (certainly takes a long time after shutting off the car for the pumps and fans to stop)

Looking good bud, I also struggle to capture the leather properly after cleaning... Always ends up looking shinier.

Absolute stunner. I think the carbon engine cover you have is also an option. This is without doubt the ultimate saloon.

Saw the car pulling away at the traffic light on Allandale towards Kyalami. Sounds insane. Looking forward to your reviews.

It didn't take long to do the first mod and @deago.parts@abmbmw made it impossible to resist with the last M Performance height adjustable suspension kit available in SA for a KILLER price. Firi's pricing on carbon bits was amazing but they will have to wait for another time I'm afraid. My normal MO is to do carbon mirrors and cosmetic items. However this is one that I felt was going to make a big difference to my enjoyment of the car and being able to keep my motorplan intact was (of course) a big factor LOL.

What this kit essentially does is retrofit adjustable collars to the OEM EDC dampers.

Although I do like the M Performance carbon (and the car has a bunch of it on already), I am in two minds about the CS vs. M Performance Pro spoilers and whether to wait on availability for the CS style diffuser as well (The car already has a 'finned' diffuser).

Seriously though Deago FTW!!! it was cheaper to source AND fit this than just bringing a kit in myself with the current exchange rates and shipping costs.

He also went out of his way to keep me updated and put my mind at ease meeting the tech that was going to be doing the work, talking through how I wanted the height set up and what to do with the parts + documenting the process.

This is just a sneak preview with more to follow soon:

Zwartkops here we come.... lol.

I would be very interested to see the times of this beast compared to the 4C, it would make for interesting reading and debating, and maybe a Sale thread for the small Italian :)

LOL Literally zero chance: the 4C has to be experienced on track to understand this: even if the M5 could (and probably would) set a blistering individual lap time, it cannot hope to match the ability of the 4C to put in consistent laptimes lap after lap without overheating, brake issues, heat soaking, limp modes etc etc being triggered (and with miniscule costs by comparison LOL).

Also the feel of the two alone makes the 4C preferable as the track weapon ;)

A GT3 RS/GT2 RS/720S/STO/Speciale garage mate would be good upgrades (if I win the lottery) - but I would still probably keep the little italian LOL
