So I drove down to Debben an all today in the oil burner

Fuel economy is something else 5.5l/100km
only used half a tank to get here
It never missed a beat and went really well

MikeR i cant really compare the 2 cars to be honest. They just way to different
There are a few things i prefer in the Audi though the DIS is much better
the suspension an seating were better in the Audi aswell

i get really annoyed with the radio display and to be fair should have opted for the Idrive
But i wasnt going to pay the cash
I find the back end to be a bit skittish at times and doesnt promote a positive response and that's with the M pack which I thought would provide a stiffer ride

Other than that its a great car. I think the mod disease is tapping on my shoulder though


As for the performance mods. Your looking at about R2500 depending on the discount

First up the Alcatera insert on the steering wheel
didnt like the OEM insert and didn't match the rest of my performance goodies



been after some black grills so took the plunge and ordered a set
These are BMW OEM



Fitted a CF M3 spoiler


Today I got rid of that horrid exhaust - Good riddance

I wonder why the diesel 3s for SA market got weird turned down tips whereas places like the UK got straight tips across the range.

I wonder what the exhausts for the 335d would have looked like if it came to SA.
