Good Day Everyone!

Last week I found myself in Killarney Gardens at the Samsung Air Depot working on a Flat Black Jeep Cherokee.

The client, a referral from my Discovery 3 customer requested I look at the car and do whatever I can to make it look new again.

I arrived, and immediately realised I was in for one hell of a day.

The Jeep was absolutely buggered, the paint looked grey and was faded and dull. The car itself was layered in weeks of dirt and dust and then to make things worse they didnt have a water point that could provide enough pressure to allow my Bosch High Pressure Hose to function.

Nonetheless I taped her up and began with correcting. I attacked the car using Pro Cut 2 doing two passes followed by Megs #85 doing a very very light pass to refine. I am very impressed by how nicely the Megs polishes break down without leaving micro-marring.

A couple of 50/50's after the Pro Cut alone, not refined just yet.

This however is the left side of the Jeep polished and refined.

Bonnet refined and ready for LSP.

After a very quick rewash, I decided to try the Chemical Guys Ultimate Top Coat Sealant on a flat paint finish and well... A picture perhaps?

This is an absolutely brilliant sealant offering amazing gloss and depth!

I didnt do any pictures of the interior as it was so disgusting that even after I was done with it I reckon it still looked awful... I have yet to see seats stained in such a horrific manner.

So moving onto some after pictures of the exterior!

And finally an arty pic I took without realising it, must have been holding the camera and left it switched on.

As much as this wasnt a detail I enjoyed, it did make me realise the worth of my service and the power of detailing.

What do you guys think of this huge transformation?

Thanks guys, all cars can do with a bit of TLC every now and then.

The problem is that because we are always around our cars, see them daily etc we dont notice the deterioration of the paintwork and interior because it happens so slowly.

Thats why its awesome when you have your car detailed and realise how much difference there is.
