You will eventually get it... ;)
It would be monumentally stupid to write off your "forever" car, the car you took to your mothers final breath, the car you took to her funeral for a measly insurance payout my friend. I lament over the loss of that car nearly every single day of my life. It was perfect.

That was sold with a chassis so bent the CD shuttle could not eject and the boot had a gap i could stick my hand in as "part of their personal collection" to a unsuspecting sap in KZN.

No one willingly writes off their cars. I merely asked if the banana-shaped outcome that was eventually sold as a collector's item (as you put it) happened in your ownership or not. Props on the emo feedback though. You should get some of it off your chest more often, then some people will understand your random outbursts on here.

Does anyone know of a clean E92 M3 then that is up for sale?
There was one shared on another thread on Autotrader for R900k with low miles. No idea whether the replies about it were sarcastic or not though - I'm still new to the tone of this forum ;)

To whom it may concern,

I am writing in response to the recent and entirely unfounded allegations made on the BMW forum regarding my vehicle. I categorically deny all claims and assert that they are completely untrue.

As far as I am concerned, the car was sold to me in a clean, accident-free condition, and it has remained in that state under my ownership. I take great pride in maintaining the vehicle, and any modifications made—specifically the wheel spraying and the fitting of carbon fibre parts—were carried out by Coetzees Auto, using parts I purchased from another member on this very forum. There have been no issues related to the condition of the car or its maintenance (I have my slips as proof).

I would like to make it abundantly clear that any further defamatory comments made about me, Coetzees Auto, or my car will not be tolerated and will result in immediate legal action. Defamation is a serious matter, and I will pursue all necessary legal remedies to protect my reputation.

If you are not interested in purchasing the car, that is your prerogative. However, further baseless allegations will not be entertained. I look forward to seeing the photos of your own E92 M3s, and I wish you all well

This is all well and good. Seems like someone hit a nerve or 10.

Was it you spinning the car in the video?

My guy... if you want to "formally" threaten with legal action I would seriously recommend you to first reach out to an actual lawyer before relying on a templated response. The small consultation fee might save you from hitting your own name with a plank.

For something to be considered as defamatory requires false statements that harm your reputation. There is a video attached as proof (meaning that the comments made are true) on the past driving behavior and comments was made towards the vehicle in question, not you as a person. You might have a foot to stand on if you are the said driver in that video, recklessly spinning on a public road and abusing the vehicle in question (think about it).

As far as Coetzees goes it comes down to the same thing, nowhere in this post has any member here made untrue statements, the vehicle in question was seen at a panel shop in pictures (proof) and a potential buyer practiced his/her own right not to proceed with it and saw it as red flags, the vehicle, not the panel shop.

All comments made here are statements of facts, we have a right to give our opinions when it comes to vehicles.
