technical G01 X3 unlock at end of trip

Hi all. Can someone (maybe @MR_Y ?) verify for me.
The G01 has a setting "unlock at end of trip". When selected, it unlocks ALL the doors when you switch the engine off. I don't need to tell anyone this is not desirable in South Africa.
Is this how it's supposed to behave, and is there a way to have it unlock only the drivers door when you switch off the engine?
(Note I'm NOT referring to unlocking the cat from outside using the FOB or comfort access - that part is separate and easy to figure out)

Thanks

Hi

Refer screenshot below from owners manual.
You can toggle the setting off to not unlock at end of trip

Yeah, got that, but problem is then it doesn't unlock the driver's door either. All the doors then stay locked.
What I want it to do is unlock just the drivers door when I get him and turn the car off.
Maybe sounds like asking for a lot, but it's stupid that it's an all or none situation.

When you get home and switch car off, then just pulling the door handle will unlock the door. Unless you are talking about lifting up the door locking pin on the door?

He just wants the drivers door to unlock when he switches off the car.

Perhaps can be done by coding it.

I can’t recall what happens with my cars

Will check and report back although both F series.

Ya the F series was better. From what i can remember of my 30d, it only opened the drivers door. The others had to be manually opened using the button next to the hazards or you pulled twice on the handle.

I think I'll just do this. Leave it locked, then just pull on the handle. Fortunately it requires only one pull to open, not like the old Fs where it needed 2.

I know I probably just sound like a lazy B*stard🤣
