Haven't updated in a while so will try and see if I remember what went on.
New additions...nothing cosmetically :biglol:
March just seen some cleaning up and claying of the paintwork in order to prep for SABeemer Day at the Glen.
As we all know, BMWFanatics took Best club award, and it was well deserved as the guys really come out to represent and they did a brilliant job. Well done BMWFanatics. I was 2 minded about entering my car into the S&S but did so none less a few hours after arriving.
I entered the Best Modified/Custom Class and Ended up Taking second Place. Lost points for Valid reason as Brake Callipers Paint was peeling and had some dirt on the intake manifold. Scored 48/50 and was really happy with the result and it's always Good to get constructive criticism so that one knows where to improve. Fantastic day none the less.
Slight Adjustments done to KWs with regard to ride height, do lowered it another 10mm in the front. Still not as low as I had the car prior, but I'm waiting for the Suspension to settle in before adjusting again.
A few days after Beemer Day, I took some much needed R&R and hit a family holiday to durbs again with a few friends. This is when the Suspension really impressed me. Doing long distance with Sport, bmw Performance Springs, HnR Springs, and Bilstien Coilovers, I can safely say, the KWs are in a league of their own. I initially thought maybe it buyer bias that made me feel that way, but when the wife commented halfway through the ride is so much better, I knew I made the right purchase. :blowheart:
As always, the more I drive my car long distance, the more I love it. People can say what they want about and N54, all I can say, it's a bloody lovely engine and when looked after, it's a piece of machinery that can be highly appreciated. Long distance and brawling on the streets, it gives the best of both worlds. Comfort and Power, I really can't ask for more....so all the critics...
