I do like these cars a lot, despite my initial reservations. The cockpit is a special place to be. It does remind me more of a Bahn Stormer, closer to an M5 in power delivery, dimensions and weight, than the previous generation M3s and I think it regrettable that every new generation has to grow in size and dimensions until it eventually looks like it's purpose is not to improve on its predecessor by being more focused but rather by becoming a newer variant of the best of the previous upper class. As if the new M3 is the new M5, while the new M5 graduates to level 7...
It isn't a bad thing in itself, because it makes way for the 2 series to replace it for buyers that want that. Pity then that the new M2 is such a fat cat as well.
That said, what a desirable car...it must leave it's driver and owner with a feeling of opulence and awe from the time the motor starts until with some sadness it has to be parked until the next time...and what an amazing on road presence it has.
I hope you drive it plenty...it deserves to be enjoyed from the inside!
