FINALLY I'M BACK !!!!!!

Hi Guys

It's been too long since I've been here and even longer since I had a box again. That has finally changed. Please meet my new friend.

It's a 1988 2 door 325i. It was an automatic but was converted to a manual. It is really in excellent condition. I picked it up on Sunday in Durbs and drove it back. What a feeling to be behind the wheel again of a E30 straight six ! Man how I've missed it. I'll take better pics as soon as I have cleaned it up properly.

It has got a full service history, still got the tools in the boot, cubby torch, crackless dash etc. I got it with 186000 km's on the clock. Stock standard except for a Cowley branch and free flow. Nice loud sound system.

The bottom part of the car was sprayed black. I'll change that in due course. The mags are also sprayed matt black, that will also change.

So, just to say, I'm back again and now I can attend meets as well.

Yes, it's not the "is", but I respect an "is" too much to drive it daily and ripp it. I have some plans for this one, and yes, skidpan is one of them. My very first Beemer as a '87 white 2 dr 325i manual, and when I toiok a seat in this one, all the memories came back. Man, what a feeling !

Yeah, I must say, I was very impressed with the interior and exterior. No dents no nothing. Just a clean car.

Thanx Guys ! Yes, it's true whatthey say, once you go E30, you never go back :rollsmile:.

Yip, there are a few niggles to be sorted, but that's fine. This is the wife's present to me. This is my toy to do with as I like and to keep me busy and enjoy. Of there is money for the month to spend, I can spend, if not, then it has to wait. As long as I can enjoy her/him. Still have to figure out if it is a boy or a girl.

What do you guys think ?
