Hi fanatics.

Picked up an F30 330d in November last year after searching for a while. Paid a premium but mileage is only 98k kms on a 2014.

This cars spec level has really surprised me and it made me wonder if it might be rare in this spec. I’ll post the spec sheet below. I’d be really interest to hear from other owners or guys who have seen other F30’s with potentially more options?

Thanks man. Love the car, feels like a gem.

Don’t have a lot of photos of it yet. Interior is super clean almost looks like it’s never been used. But damn the low mileage ones cost a lot. Took me well over a year to find this one. Didn’t even realise the spec fully until I bought it someone got in the back and said what are these buttons, and I said must be aircon stuff… nope it was the rear seat heating that’s when I ran the VIN through a decoder and realised

Haha sounds like it. I have the original bill of sale. It is crazy. Base price was R550k, car went out the door at R830k with all options added. In 2014 that’s crazy money on a 3 series.

Definitely the highest spec 320d I’ve ever seen.
Ja man this 330d of mine makes me wonder who hurt the first owner that he optioned it this crazy the heated rear seats really catches me

Whoever speccd this car when built, price was of no concern. The number of extras over stock would have been eyewatering at the time.

One of two things, Dealer spec - ticked everything to be a decent demo (the F30 was one of the most successful 3 series manufactured) OR someone had a lot of tax money to deal with on the car.

All in, I would make sure mechanically its sorted, @Clint@MMS AUTO can sort you out with a proper service (i wouldnt trust any oil in there), check diagnostics, turbo health and any recalls for starter, airbags and alternator if i remember correctly.

Probably check transmission given mileage (take it to ZF).

Once you get a clean bill of health, keep this car till the wheels fall off.
Safe journeys to you and your family buddy and congrats.

The car was spec’d by the client. Might get hold of Clint as I see his work is well regarded. Think it needs a downpipe to free up the cat as I’m sure it’s close to being blocked because of the low mileage being done. Car has been to ZF already and they say all is good with box. But it hasn’t been serviced before and the conflicting stories on servicing a box is making it confusing.
