So.... as much as the Nash's figures are a little lower than mine, there's no denying that the f30 puts the power down a little better. And there gear changes on that sport auto box also make the world of difference.

Now prior the the RK file on the f30, there was not much of a contest. I was literally pulling car gaps. And we had plenty of runs.

This is what happened after the file... so straight up e90 vs f30 both with SW only. Enjoy[video=youtube]

Seems the F30 got a slight jump so nothing much in it really.

True, but based on the fact that michael makes slightly more power and almost 100nm more torque, it shows us how the different power curves and gearbox play an important role.

I have a sneaky feeling that theres more to be had from the F30 setup.

The jump we see is the quicker lockup on the F30 compared to the E90

I dont think the F30 jumped, you can clearly hear that he started accelerating after the hoot, I think its the throttle response and gearbox that make the difference. ooh and maybe the twin schrol turbo. I think its very impressive for a mild tune :praise:

I agree, no jump, just the reaction time of the E90 vs the F30 tech

No jump there guys... that was the most even run we had. A few others if i pressed a little earlier i was ahead and stayed ahead, if Nash pressed a little earlier he got ahead and stayed ahead.

Definitely more to b had from the F30... hopefully downpipe to follow shortly:smilebounce:

@Michael.Joseph, what RPM are you shifting at bud?

Between 4000 and 4200 on 2nd and 3rd. From 4th at 4500

Shift at 3800 bud in all gears and it'll be quicker if you running stock turbo. Holding till 4500 is just wasting revs as your power is dropping off and you've missed peak torque when you change into the next gear.
