F30 330D Door Lock Actuator Issue

Good day everyone,

My 2014 F30 330D M-Sport's driver door stopped locking and unlocking. It works fine with the silly key but it's a headache.

Has anyone attempted to replace the actuator themselves? Difficulty and where to purchase?
I watched a YouTube video or 3 and it doesn't seem too difficult but I'm still wary of damaging something in the process...

I'm considering taking it to the professionals but not sure who to contact for such a job. I'm based in the Northern Suburbs of CPT. Any advice?

I replaced mine on the 330d about 2 years back, got a new OEM one from @Peter@AEW
it isn't difficult but it can be a bit tricky getting the angle right to slide it into position, everything else is relatively straight forward.

Its easy enough to DIY if you have small hands, if you have big hands like me it can be a little frustrating.
