Exquisite E93 335i - Detailing Content

I cannot think of a hobby more satisfying than detailing. Watching the transformation take place before your eyes is truly such a rewarding feeling. Yes, the hard work and concentration can sap a person dry, but for those that are conditioned to it, the joy of seeing a completed car, and the look of joy on the owner's face when he sees the difference makes it all okay :blowheart:

Sweli (Prospect on the forum), dropped off his 335i with me for some attention. I was rather optimistic about the whole affair until we saw all this:

Horrendous swirling

Terrible holograms

All this after a local car wash 'polished' his car to 'remove' water marks amongst other nasties.

Not too bad then, we set to work as usual, employing some Car Chem Snow Foam, Car Chem Luxury Shampoo, CD Clay Mitt, and AF Iron Out.

I wish I could have taken a pic of the contamination on the clay mitt, but with the interface being black, it was hard to see. When we first clayed the car, it sounded like sandpaper on the surface!

Iron Out doing its thing on the wheels

With the wash and decontamination out the way, we setup our test spots:

Some telling 50/50 shots

The BMW Schwartz paint loved the S17+ and White Spider pad combo from the Flex and both the BigFoots (the mini Bigfoot used the Rupes coarse pads) so we set to work:

After

The wheels were also treated to a once over with Black Fire Gloss enhancing polish to clean the surface, then given a once over with Car Chem Hard Shell Sealant.

Once the bodywork was polished, out came the AF Tough Prep, then the AF Power Seal, finished off with the brilliant touch of AF Passion:

Thanks:

- Thanks to Sweli for the opportunity
- Thanks to Azhar, Shezaad, Gavin and Celest for the parts they played in the turn-around of this car
- Thanks for the support, and the read!

Really well done fuzz. Agreed that detailing is a really rewarding experience, but you have a knack of really brining out the best in the car. Big ups to you and the team for always exceeding your clients ts expectations.
