Appreciate this response gents. But after I offered him 400k as per @jld10 advised he doesn't want to talk me again 🤣jk.

I think im going to hang in and see if one pops up with less mileage and reasonably priced.
Sounds abt right..Just walk away..look it was over priced to begin with and these stealerships have stories. Ofc a 400k offer would not result in a satisfactory response..but thats the cars worth in reality..it's a 115k miler and for a S65 high revving engine that has taken a pummeling at that. If you really wanted the car..should have offered the stealership 50k less then do the cat and mouse gig..or good cop bad cop schpieel. The low mileage examples are collector level pricing on the mkt..and you not going down that route.

Why are u buying the car?

Is it for a daily driver?
Is it a weekend car?
Is it for a collection/investment?

Buying that cheaper/higher mileage car is sometimes more expensive.
My advice is try look for the spec u like or as close as possible.

When I bought my E92, I was specifically looking for a White one but it had to be a Comp with under 100000km and DCT. I landed up with a Space Grey 2012 Comp DCT with 82000km (I sometimes wish I had gone for a manual)
I paid much more than this car u looking at, but currently it’s valued and insured for R150k more than what I paid 3 years ago. Oh and I bought it from Cape Town unseen, but checked by a good friend who is a collector plus I had all its service history!

Again look at my 2006 E46 M3 I bought it in 2017 people said I was crazy for what I paid for the car, it is a concours car currently on 89000km but it has tripled in value.

My advice is decide what exactly u looking for, what u willing to spend and get one with the lowest mileage u can find in ur budget with FSH and with all the big ticket items done.

Trust me these V8s are going to climb in value, they already are
