E92 door frame rubber seals

Getting quite a bit of wind noise at speed, and I figure it has to be the rubbers. They are hard at the windows and don't press tightly against the windows so I suppose they are the culprit.

BMW is asking R3800 per door for the coupé. Goldwagen doesn't stock it.

Now I'm all for OEM parts but jeez man.

So my question is - any suggestions for an alternative solution in terms of aftermarket options etc?

Thanks guys!

Most E92's have wind noise even when the rubber seals are fine. Try applying Liqui Moly's Gummi pflege or rubber care product to the seal. After that try pressing against the window when you rolling it up and see if it then seals properly.

That's cheap! E36 coupe is like R8k per door :ROFLMAO:

Thanks. I think I'm going to rather see if I cannot score 1mm on the door catch to pull it a bit tighter as the seals are still good, but just not as proud and supple as the bottom halves. I am also ordering some of that Liqui Molly product as I don't think the product I'm using is doing the job (Shield's silicone-free dressing - SP8).

I'll just live with it until they tear because R8k for a set is just not happening right now, regardless of whether that's "cheap".

Try PRO AUTO RUBBER, might not be oem but they supply good quality.
