The drive is amazing! You don't have to flat foot her to get a great drive. Power is available in every gear exactly when you need it! Best of all is I'm still getting 5L/100km on the open road!

Was the water meth there prior to the remap? What type of costs are you looking at? What mix do you run?

Don't mean to be Debbie Downer, but that's less than 10% gain on both power and tq? That's barely perceptible when driving.

The system was installed yes but on the previous file I had there was no gain when it was running. I use a 50/50 mix. If I'm not mistaken the kit is around R5.5k

The difference in torque can definitely be felt when the system is on but also bear in mind that this is the fist file from RK and Keithan will still be tweaking it to get it to where she needs to be.

Tobofey, what figures was the car pushing out before the RK motion file?

Yes those runs are the just the file and with the meth activated.
I only have the figures the car was doing in a third gear run before we changed the file. The torque was on 666nm and that was with the meth running but it only increased that file marginally by about 20nm. The RK file in third was sitting at 647nm without meth and 687 with meth. On my old E90 330d the meth system added 100nm when activated and that was around that 780nm mark

Meth if set up and tuned properly will give you around the 100nm Mark jncrease

Ah, ok, are there any graphs or figures of stock vs mapped?

This is the closest to stock that I have. This was a file that was loaded that I really didn't like and as you can see the graph is all over the place on this one.

Also take a look at the duration on the graph between just the file and the file with meth. That shows you how much quicker you are getting to the same Mark, I guess if you race a lot then the time is what matters lol

Tobofey came to us as his previous file would not make power with watermeth. As many RK customers know- Power on the DYNO vs how the vehicle drives on the road differs alot.

It may be a marginal gain with meth- but this was straight after the dyno run without meth. We have seen after a few kms with meth on the car makes more power than the initial dyno - adaptation required.

We do not tune for running meth all the time, as when there is no meth there will ne a problem. Thus files are written for the customer to enjoy without meth and when meth is added- give a noticeble gain.

The 730d needs a little more tweaks here and there and im sure she will be stronger than she is now. :)
