@Wykid: Beautiful car bud. SAC fitted a freeflow on my M. They had express instructions to keep the increment in noise level to absolute minimum and I think they did a pretty fine job. How'd it sound to you coming back on the highway on Sunday? I used SAC in kyalami. If interested, speak to Louis who seems to know his trade.

Thanks ajm, did not really get to hear the car on the move esp after Chris and you decided on some "testing"...:)
At idle your car sounded very nice and not obtrusive at all, but then again the BMW 6's are known for their sweet sound. I am concerned that with the 8 it can get a bit raspy and I do not want the car to sound like a tow truck. I know there a guys who have tried different combinations on the 8's when it comes to freeflows and would need to hear these to help with the decision. I actually live in Kyalami, so might just pop around to SAC and have a chat with Louis and see what he suggests...

Ah good point - the V8 rumble combined with a freeflow (even if conservative) may trigger car alarms along the way, but worth chatting to Louis anyway. Don't know what the std 540 exhaust is like, but can tell you that the power gain from the exhaust upgrade on my M was significant - probably largely responsible for the performance diffs between mine and Chris's. Keep us posted

:) no worries bud, I think we had a fine crop of E34's at the meet, each a beauty in their own right....

That can be arranged, just so long its not the affirmative type of "borrowing"...:mmm:

Only awe for the collection of fine vehicles that you guys have, oh and the "spareshop" too.

@JustNN, :thumbsup: bud.

Hey W, how are you doing buddy? Thanks, yes some small changes have made a big difference to the overall look of the car. Still have a few things to complete but as you know with cars its an ongoing process...

Hi Guys,
Just curious. What do one of these babes sell for today, assuming you can get one? General ball-park figure?

:thumbsup: sankekur..., your 330 holds its own as well....

sshhh...the E34/E39's performance is among BMW's best kept secrets.....:pimp:

To quote my mate Uber "Big. Bad. Sedate but threatening, like a muscled German mobster in a too-tight suit.
This is the E34, the world's most anonymous continental ass-hauler."
