I have noted a sudden spike in requests for parts pertaining to the above mentioned model, considering they are not often seen on the roads, the amounts of requests and parts supplied to different areas of SA would indicate these rare models are being treated fairly well.
Are these models climbing in value or driven appreciation?
In the last six months it has been at least 6 different 850i models that needed a specific parts with a mixture of Genuine and OEMs still holding strong supply, from brakes to headlight bulb holders its been an odd surge, although lighting parts are becoming more rare as HELLA has stopped production on most BMW lights beyond 2000 (If you have Genuine or OEM HELLA E30 lights hold on to them)
