Difference Of a German Spec and Sa Spec E36 M3

Hey guys
Can someone help me.
What is the difference between a german spec and Sa spec e36 M3
besides the seats

There is a 1994 M3 going for 75k
The reason for the price is there is no service records , which i'm sure can be obtained from Bmw up to 100 000km
The vehicle has 164 000km

Let me guess... the Avus Blue one in Buccleuch?

A word of advice - RUN AWAY

Okay, that's two words - but you get my drift.

Only cosmetic differences between the SA spec and the imported/so-called german spec

Because I've been to see the car and I've also had an encounter of sorts with the dude selling the car - the body work is fairly decent.

Door and window rubbers are destroyed
The original alarm system doesn't work - replaced with a cheap-ass Sanji unit
Aircon doesn't work
Outside air temp sensor missing or faulty
Door trims are missing the speaker grilles, and the leather is bubbling badly on the arm rests. Driver's side door card is loose and in bad shape.
The boot is a dog's breakfast
Drivers door closes with great difficulty and doesn't line up as it should + the handle mechanism feels sloppy and worn out
The dash plastics are misaligned and badly worn
Engine bay is a mess, with bits being held together with cable ties, etc.
Vanos is rattly and unhappy

All in all, there are much better M3's to be had for R25k more... considering you're going to be spending more than that to service and sort out niggles on the car, you'd be better off just buying a better one right off the bat.

Lol, no... more like a close encounter of the bull***t kind..

The dude lives two blocks from me in Buccleuch.

Here's one of his other ads:
http://www.gumtree.co.za/cp-cars-in...bmw-330i-e46-v8-6-speed-manual-gold-464852053

330i with a Lexus V8 conversion.

He goes on to tell you about how he did the conversion, and how expensive + time consuming it was, and what a great dual purpose family car / tar ripper it is..

Too bad the previous owner of the car never removed his ad off junkmail:
http://www.junkmail.co.za/motoring/...mw-lexus-v8-and-m3-six-speed-gearbox-24269001

So in essence, young Bronson bought the car for R45k, scaled off the rims and replaced them with stock 330i wheels with shagged tyres, and is now selling the car for R56k, claiming to have done the conversion himself.

Also, cluster doesn't work, aircon doesn't work, etc etc - but it gets advertised with all the bells and whistles.

Yup, sounds legit.
