The driver (Marius Oosthuizen) has been doing all the aluminium tig welding for my build, the guys is a master! Not a bad driver either with his 1000hp S38 engine and a manual toyota hilux gearbox, all the other cars doing those times have airshift boxes!!!

I visit budler almost every week to 2 weeks and watched the build-up of this machine. All the right parts have gone into the motor and car. I will ask him next time I see him if I can take some spy pics.

The rear end is a work of art, whole rear end was cut out and replaced with sheet metal as to accommodate the multi-point rose link suspension and ford 9 inch diff.
The E34 M5 engine has had the whole treatment too with forged everything! O-ringed block to hold the pressure inside (close to 2bar), twin methanol pump systems, custom intake and exhaust manifold systems which are pieces of art in themselves.

ive also been around the process every now and then and the rear is interesting and the rubber fits in the back neatly! I would love doing a project like that! just a shit scary drive i can imagine!
