Ladies and gents.
Thanks to everyone for a lekker day out at the track. I think everyone will agree it was defiantly one for the books. To the organizer and sponsors a job really well done. Even firi managed to blow the clouds away....
Looking forward to the pics and vids that’s gonna follow and also thanks to the oaks that helped me with staging and lining me up it is much appreciated.
I think someone owes me lunch thou.... forget the oaks name that called me out(intentionally might I add) but it’s 2-0 to me right? Means I get a burger and fries then LOL
May we plan something like this maybe next quarter or early in the new year As it’s well worth every cent and a lekker family day out.

Wow!!!! All praise due to God for affording us the ability and opportunity to host an event of such magnitude & to have been in contact with such amazing people.
We were nervous & a little worried about how this event would turn out, even with the months of preperation involved, but we did not expect the immense response as we seen yesterday! We had major concerns about weather but even the rain stayed away so we could have a great time.
It was just beyond anything we expected and was such a pleasure and gratifying seeing everyone smiling and having a great time.
To everyone that attended, drivers & spectators, on behalf of BMWFanatics & the team behind it, we would like to thank you for participating, coming out to brave the cold and spending the day with us at RACEDAY 2018 at Redstar Raceway. It was absolute pleasure to host this event and see the smiles on everyone's faces. Would like to thank the regulars who assisted us and gave us some pointers, hope they were of benefit to the drivers.

From a spectator point of view...
I want to say well done. Normally my tolerance for events and such is a couple of hours at most, but I was really impressed with the facility (first time at RedStar) and the way the whole thing was put together.
The food was good, the areas were clean and accessible, and the atmosphere was less frantic than what one normally expects from such big events.
Visibility was excellent too and it was easy to feel like part of the action, even as a spectator.
I got a chance to catch up with some old friends, and everyone I spoke to was in good spirits.
Ended up staying until the very last race and will definitely be at the next one.
Well done guys, top class.

I have said this plenty times over WhatsApp, but a massive massive congratulations to all the people involved in making Race Day 2018 happen.
You guys did an absolutely amazing job, and I have never had more fun at an event.
I know that Firi was very stressed about the track portion of things not going as planned. But it worked, and it was amazing!
I have zero complaints about the day, absolutely zero complaints.
Now every other event that Fanatics has is gonna feel crap after Race Day :roflol:

I have always wanted to be a part of race day, but was never able to. I can’t imagine that any of the previous events was even nearly as good as this one.
Everyone was concerned about the program and the time allocated to each category/event. The time allocated to drag racing was questioned on numerous occasions, but the fact that most guys got somewhere between 7-12 runs in is truly a testament to the great organization and planning of the event.
Hats off to all the fanatics and organizers for a really awesome event.:bravo:

The facility was amazing, the co-ordination was outstanding throughout the day! the bar has now been set really high for future events lol so well done to the team :bravo:
