I am confused. So the event says we going to Franschoek. But then you say we going to the Orchard Farm Stall. Isn't the Orchard in Grabouw?

Or is the drive actually first to Franschoek but then we go from there to Grabouw? Or are we going past Grabouw then to Franschoek?

Hi guys

We are leaving from Auto Atlantic (Cape Town CBD) to franschoek and then to Grabouw( Orchard Farmstall)

We are going to go the N1 way

A first for ANY BMW Club in S.A, this event will go cross-country and hit Durban, Joburg & Cape Town!!! :tiptoe:
(NB: Be on the look out for the specific Breakfast Run thread regarding your region (posted shortly) as this thread is for WC)

The deets for the WC leg as follows:

Date: Sunday, 26 November
Meet Venue: Auto Atlantic BMW- Cape Town
Meet Time: 07:00 am
Convoy Depart: 08:00 am
Destination Venue: Franschoek

Our final destination for the day will be Orchards Farmstall and Coffee Shop

They have been kind enough to to make arrangements for us and good food at a special price just for our run

Option 1: scramble eggs and croissants

Option 2: 2x eggs 2x beef sausages 1x chips 1 x grilled tomato wedge

Both options are R50 p/p

If none of that tickles your tastebuds, you can order off the menu with a large variety of great food.

That will be a private venue at the back just for us with a kids play area.

I was also under the impression that the Orchard venue is in Grabouw , would one of the organizers please give some clarity on this matter .
Well if we do go Claremont -> Grabouw -> Franschoek, that would be awesome. I heard the drive from Grabouw to Franschoek should be beautiful, and how many of us do that drive? I dont think I have done it yet.

Hi guys the run is starting off from Auto Atlantic (cape town cbd) not in Claremont.

It is with great sadness that I have to retract my participation in the breakfast run of Sunday.

The mags aren't complete and basically ruined my plans.

I'm sorry guys. I would've liked to see Andreas' and Stuart's cars. :(

Would have also liked to have seen your car again! Sorry to hear, next time!

Thanks to everyone responsible for arranging this. It seemed like a good turnout, the event was a great spot and my sons enjoyed the play area.

Love the route, one of my favorite drives and I have been waiting to take my car on that road.

And what better way to do it then having a whole fleet of BMW's and M's all around me. The noise surrounding me was just epic, glad I got to see all your awesome cars, and they sound even better.

Looking forward to the next one

Was an awesome route. Absolutely loved it. And the venue as well. Was just a bit bummed that it too them almost 2 hours to get our stuff together for our table...by the time we got our breakfast the entire fleet left already. Oh well. Here's to the next one!

Hi all,

So when we were coming down the franschoek pass, there was a car in front of me taking pics through the sunroof, not sure who it was, but if you are or know who I'm talking about, did you get any pics of my e34 by any chance? Would love to see if there are any

I also had a wish to see a picture of my car on this run and my wish was granted about a week after the event . I received a very unflattering black and white photo courtesy of the THEEWATERSKLOOF municipality for which they are billing me r1000 , very uncool of them .

There was a temporary camera right before the venue that caught me at 76 in 60 zone for 400 Randellas.
