Did you use the complete E90 seatbelt or modify the E36 belts?
The neat way would be to use the complete e90 seatbelt as the catch sits on the seats, but by the time I realised this everything was bolted in. Shame on me for worrying about safety last 🙈 - so I modified the the e36 belts.

But its possible to use the e90 seat belts, it will look way neater.

+1 on the above

Also do you know if your buddy can fit M3 seats in an Amarok? - asking for a friend
I did all the seats myself - and from this small experience, I think its possible to make anything fit if you willing to struggle long enough. The main thing would be that your seating position is correct.

I have seen where different seats are used and you sit off set.

Effort I think is determined by who is doing the job lol, it depends on how much patience you have for in and out with the seats, and checking with the probe to make sure everything works.

I took my time and did not rush, so it took me I think 3 days at most.

Wow this looks epic. Its very similar to the task I have ahead of me, also an e36 318i. This post has given me an extra bit of motivation.
