So I picked her up 2 nights ago...

1998 e36 m3 Aegean blue beauty...

Done over 400km in her already as whenever I come home after going somewhere... I pack up and go out again... She is amazing to drive :bravo:

I completely understand what I was missing driving anything else now... The rain in CT this morning was interesting too... from pull away you have to really feather your right foot

Just a couple of quick shots I took yesterday morning... when the rain stops I'll be sure to do some more picture taking :joy:

You are missing a shock tower cover...:fencelook:

Has the car been in a front end smash or resprayed as the "Avus Blue" sticker is missing from the passenger side shock tower?

Not so sure its a front end smash but that side suspension parts are newer than the other side... so possibly into a curb or something (hence the no cover thing)...

When I saw that cover missing when I first looked at it I went underneath to inspect... and thats what I saw. Previous owner said he doesn't know of anything while he has had it but ja...
No funny sounds or pulling skiwwe or anything like that... No evidence of respraying or anything so could have been just wheel.

Other than that no evidence of crinkled panels, over spray or anything of that nature...

[edit] as for the missing sticker I am not sure about that... to be honest didn't notice that part... The other warning stickers etc. are there

Congrats on the new ride, she looks lovely....always been a fan of these cars.

Is the colour not Aegean Blue, from the pics looks to be a bit darker than Avus? Aegean was more popular on the 4 door M3....
