The short of it,

Last year my brother bought a E46 330i, he asked me to go inspect/fetch the car and well lets just say that the naturally aspirated straight six got me hooked.

A year long of searching and getting the finances in order lead me to this, this time around he had to go inspect the car! :cartel:

The previous owner bought a M235i and unfortunately this car had more than one owner but thankfully motor plan was extended by 2 years and since then, the last year and a half, had 3 services at a single service center.

When I collected the car it had just over 106000km on clock, now its just under 109000km after a month and a bit of ownership. I had to drive it from Cape Town to Pretoria and would do it again and again in this car. The only issue I encountered was the "nice" etoll roads, as soon as I got on them I got a chip on the windscreen :blueCry:

I've decided to keep the car OEM and unfortunately those performance parts are rare but will keep a lookout and hope one day I find some of them. Otherwise I've added 15% tint and looking at upgrading to an android head unit. The gearbox is getting serviced on Friday.

I'll post pic with the tint after a wash, it really makes a big difference for me anyway.

Great car bud, looks exceptionally clean! Did you look for an auto specifically..?

I know most of the gents thoroughly enjoy the manual versions of this car. Many miles of smiles

Honestly I never thought I'd own an automatic and initially it wasn't the intention to buy an automatic but its a long story why I ended up going automatic route. I don't regret the decision at all and I have to say I'm enjoying the gearbox.

I've read up on it but haven't decided if I should do it or not yet. Need to do more research for my own comfort levels.

Never thought I'd end up owning a automatic, was looking for a manual originally but the reason why I went with automatic is one word, wife :tiptoe: I have to say to my surprise I really do enjoy the automatic and don't regret it at all.

I've seen it but haven't really considered it yet, need to some homework first for my own sanity. Just watched some youtube videos and it totally looks worth it.

Congrats. I would recommend the gearbox service as well with ZF.

Yep getting it done on Friday :smilebounce:

Are those F series 1er wheels?

@Subloaded, nope... Gavin has the same wheels on his E87 130i, style 208 (narrow and wide).

Nope they are stock 208M, I have seen them on other E87 M-Sport's.

Haha, you just beat me to the punch.. :hammerhead:

Please do XHP on that gearbox, from what I've heard, it makes a world of difference on the ZF6's. Stage 1 or 2 should be sufficient.
