Aliexpress steering wheels

Hi guys, i'm looking to get a steering wheel with paddles for my f20. I went to look for an oem-style wheel on aliexpress and found one, but I want to ask if anyone has experience with the chinese steering wheels as i'm unsure about the quality, any help is greatly appreciated. TIA

I'll be reusing my airbag, i wouldn't want to get my face blown off by chinese detonators lol

I will also shortly be in the market for a steering wheel with paddles for F20 BMW so am quite interested in seeing how this works out for you. I have seen videos of guys fitting these Chinese steering wheels to their BMW's and they seem happy with their purchase. I would definitely re-use my old air bag when fitting this wheel to my car. The price is extremely cheap. Just make sure you order the steering wheel for F20 as i notice that they include the F10 BMW in the list and i know from experience that the hole in the centre for the steering shaft is much larger on the F10 than on the F30 for example!! If you get an F10 wheel it will not fit!

The biggest different does come down to quality.

As with all things from China, you get good and bad. All out aftermarket steering wheels that are imported, the core/frame etc of the steering is oem. Hense pricing is higher.

Temu and alot of AliX primarily sell non oem cores, and that how pricing becomes cheaper.

It boils down to the individual and what he wants to do i guess.

Ok, I think I understand thanks, would I be able to move my old oem buttons over to the chinese rim with the paddles or would it not be compatible?
