This looks beautiful - a very tasteful upgrade to a gorgeous car. Well done on the colour choice as well.

This really gives me an itch as well, although I've been looking at m-performance exhausts every few months as my next upgrade to my little money pit.

another day, another rim job.

Looks immense, can't wait to see it fitted.

Your fixation knows no bounds!

After what felt like forever, my custom forged Rennzport wheels arrived! @FiRi@Rennzport and team most certainly delivered! It is a very unique finish that you can't really capture in pics being brushed with some toolmarks still visible but also encapsulated in a satin clear top coat. In all the years I have known him, Firi has never once done any less than exceed expectations and this was no exception.

The rims happened to arrive at the same time as another urgent family matter that I needed to attend to so I had a window of a few hours to get this done, or otherwise needing to wait a whole two weeks as I have to travel to Cape Town as well. (This was also a welcome mental distraction from matters at hand!) Having already procured the tyres, correct sized bolts etc, I was going to go nuts waiting all that time so made arrangements to do it earlier today.

Another of my things that really can't be photographed and which an in-person viewing is necessary to see the full impact/effect! They are 100% going to look different in nearly every one of these pics

These are an inch wider than stock. 18" front and 19" rear and allow me to run 'proper' rubber for the power availble with my Akra/Novitec/APS goodies. They look quite a lot bigger in pics because of the colour and finish, but they are actually the exact same diameter as the OEM rim. I opted to go for Bridgestone Potenza RE71RS tyres which are the road-legal semi-slicks. They sit above the Potenza Race and below the motorsport-only RE11S. Time will tell whether this was the correct choice.

How does it fit/look? Well the only word I have is PERFECT. Very happy with the sizes, offsets, fitment and of course the finish/colour. The buying process can be nerve wracking hoping you get the specs correct and then again having to wait first for production and then for shipment but it is worth every penny and worth the wait for it to arrive.

As you can see between the new and old, it really does look quite "OEM+" as opposed to totally deviating from the design of the original. I am sure my mate below will be placing an order soon . I have been the guineapig for many of the 4C owners I think.

Unfortunately this was a very rainy day, but I will share more when the car is clean, and I am back from travels.

Next is my KW or Ohlins suspension to do the 'recommended' 1cm ride height correction. I am not sure this is necessary yet but let's see.

This is very cool, nicely done! Its very unique.

You will love the 71RS, and they're the right choice seeing that you don't daily drive the car. You easily could, but it would be a waste.

Any trackdays planned?

I was definitely right, the rimjob here paid off. I can only imagine the feeling seeing it happen in person. I think your 4C must be close to the CLIMAX right now.

Im sure this must look amazing in person. Just like a 4C doesn't look as good in pics until see you one in person, then you really see its low and wide profile... these rims must be amazing. Especially that finish.

The badges look so good

A few of the pics from the photoshoot done by Moe Sarang (MS1 Media) and Rennzport.

We can play around with phones and filters, but it takes a real pro to bring things to life!

It was quite an eventful and fun shoot - as much as the first pic looks like it's from NFS Underground 2's opening, we had to engage in some NFS-style antics to use the two locations LOL. Fortunately the Alfa seems to be endearing even to security guards and truck drivers. My daughter also tagged along since she has a lot of interest in these creative adventures and wanted to see the behind-the-scenes bits, so I had dozens of questions afterwards (including when pics would arrive :ROFLMAO:).

Once again, @FiRi@Rennzport and Zaahier absolutely nailed this. The Alfisti can be a scathing bunch when it comes to cosmetic changes and performance mods: I even received more than one compliment about this being one of the few occasions a change has been an improvement! :ROFLMAO:

Very much like the 4C (and other Italian things, even Nish's Tonale for that matter), the longer you look at these, the more style/beauty/engineering becomes visible. I even caught my wife in the garage staring (or perhaps 'inspecting them') a few times.

Once again, well done.

On a very different note, I also finally received my OEM front windscreen. The guys at GP Windscreens really were a pleasure to deal with. highly recommended as well. They really explored all avenues including importing a windscreen given that it had been on global back order. Finally 3-and-a-bit months later, all is well LOL.

I will probably try to get another windscreen in case there is another supply crisis in future.

Looks stunning, why dont you ppf the windscreen?

I will be, but this also isn't magic. It is more prevention of the sandblasting effect and minor chips rather than real protection from high speed/large particle impacts which is the cause of most of the cracks that would cause you to need a new windscreen. I have a few hits that have penetrated the PPF on the front of the car as well.
