Any recommendations on brand or supplier? M54 3.0

Goldwagen ones are good, go for the mayle one. I've done mine on my 325i and it's been in use with no issues for 5 years already

I purchased my Disa rebuild kit from X8R UK via Ebay in 2014 and did the rebuild at home.

Would easily recommend this route, if all you're worried about is the flap coming loose.

Thanks guys. I did get one from goldwagen but it did not return to the fully open position. They swapped it out a couple of times and they all did the same thing so I gave up.
