Originally from there. Got to hate those potholes.

Doing a quick google search brings up replacement pcv upgraded parts, which suggests it might be a common issue on the 135's, just speculating though.

They sey you can test with a plastic bag over the oil giller cap or dipstick? Is this how I can possibly test?otherwise I'm just going to buy a new one and swop it out I dont know much about these pcv's...

Oh and BTW, you should come check the potholes, its spot some tar and win a prize...lol,the rain is horrifying the situation

I did the vacuum test with the oil cap,but there was no vaccuum or pressure.nothing happened to the bag. This was 2min or so after starting when the idling dropped down to normal with misfire present.

Should i rev the car while testing or get the engine completely warm first?

Also where can I get parts like the RB Pcv,and an oil catch can? i would rather upgrade the parts then fit OEM if it gives problems anyway

That does sound like a problem, but I am not qualified to be 100% certain what the problem is. Just do not rev the car with the cap off. Peter/A1exander will know though, I have trusted them with all my cars and haven't been let down.

Try replacing the coil pack. Bosch-Diesel Electric close to me in PTA West has plenty in stock for around R400-00- part nr 0 221 504 470.

Yes,left the car standing, took the plugs out 1 by 1 checking for fuel, and nr6 was full of fuel looking as if it was lying in a bucket of petrol

What kind of trouble are you having with INPA?

It keeps saying stopped as soon as I go to the injectors

If you are in the general Fourways area we can hook it up to Rheingold and see if that works. More than willing to help out.

Hey guys,

Im having the same problem...

Misfires on Cylinder 1-3-6. I have replaced spark plugs, then replaced fuel pump and just replaced coil packs. Car runs perfect for a day or 2 then it starts again, i have read the error and now its only misfiring on Cylinders 5-6.

Last resort is the injectors but my car is due for its service so ill get the carbon doctor done aswell before i try that expensive route.

Cheers!

If its multiple missfires on different cylinders try removing the covers to check for oil inside where your plugs go...might be the valve cover gasket sweating or leaking, that was my first issue, after that was sorted i had single misfires on cyl6, i the let the car stand for a while and removed the plugs one by one to check if they are full of petrol, sure as hell cyl6 plug was flooded, diagnosed injector 6
