Howzit Guys and Girls!!

So we’ve come to that time of the year again where it is time for our annual Paarl SPCA run. The last two years it has been a phenomenal success with the SPCA raving about us nonstop! Not to mention the fun we’ve had!

Just to give a quick overview to those that has not been on an SPCA run: We meet up at the Engen one-stop garage on the N1 outgoing, then convoy through to the SPCA in Paarl where we hand over the donations we collected, and those with a lot of love in their hearts have the opportunity to give a few lucky animals some needed attention. (PS: Those of you bringing your lady-friends with, this will be the part they really enjoy! And where you guys will earn some browny points) After that, we all convoy through to a booked venue where we will have brunch/lunch and a drink or two with some catching up with the club members we don’t see that regularly. And then it’s finished.

Typical things that they need for donations that you can bring include things like the following:

SPCA Wishlist
* Washing Powder and Sta Soft – To wash the animal’s blankets
* Floor Polish to clean offices
* Black Bags
* Hand Liquid Soap
* Cat & dog Shampoo
* Mops
* Globes
* Stationary (Any will help)
* A4 Typing Paper
* Car shampoo – to keep the vehicles clean
* Wet & Dry dog food
*Wet & Dry Cat food
* Any financial contribution
*Stericlean
* Blankets & Bowls
* Toys
* Hosepipe

This will happen on Saturday 27th of October 2012. We will meet up at the Engen one-stop garage on the N1 outgoing at 08:00 for 08:30 and then convoy through to the SPCA.

The brunch/lunch venue will still be decided upon, as soon as we have an indication of how many people are interested (the cost of lunch we will negotiate with the venue, to keep it as low as possible).

So guys and girls, start a list so we can see who is interested to participate. Please remember that this is for a very good cause, and each year the help we give the SPCA they are enormously thankful for.
