Hi All. I am in a bit of a crisis.
Bought a 2007 cooper S (N14) with some issues.
As I work on my own cars, I did not have a problem doing the mechanical stuff myself. While working on it, found many issues. Engine timing was out by alot, water pump was bust, chain guide was lose and only one bolt sort of halfway in (still need to find the other bolt) But then with the boost issues I started looking into the boost controller wiring etc and I realized someone has really been in there fiddling with the wiring. There has been wires bridged in the loom and it seems that this fiddling messed up the ecu partially. I am getting constant no starts and the obd then does not even see the ECU.
Ao long story short I have spent quite bit of money on this but now the worst part is I need to find a loom and ECU for the car. If anyone has anything, please post the ECU part number so I can see if I can figure something out. For the loom and ECU, it must be for the S model (boost controller, recirc valve etc)
It is actually quite a mess right now, so any help here would be awesome.
