Have come across a rather clean example of a manual e60 545i. Having never driven a v8 e60 i was hoping to get some opinions if before i fly down to the cape to test drive it. It has 176k and is asking 130. The pics alone have me smitten and its either this or an alfa 156 sportwagon that has a genuine GTA engine fitted...

There’s a video somewhere in the gumtree post about this 545i

I wont lie, that Alfa has been tempting me...

What did you end up buying that was better than a manual V8 or a Busso wagon?

A 1st gen 5.7 lumina ss manual that a family friend has owned from new, has 60k on the clock and i paid 85k for it. He never ever wanted to sell but he is emigrating in 2 months and Aussie ones are much better.

that is basically free. Congrats!

I am well chuffed, its not fast by modern turbo car standards and it makes you do the work when hustling on but i am smitten , the burble , the burnouts, how easy it is to hold sideways. It does need new tyres and all fluids changed hence the lowish price so will sort that out this week and then dream about a supercharger.

Wow
That’s a bargain.

As an ex lumina owner, I can concur on the fun factor

SOounds like fun! In all honestly, should be more reliable than a BMW V8

Sorry bud i never ever post pics of my family or my current cars, you will have to wait for the sale thread. Anyway its white and stock standard.
"I can peruse and check out all the pics your cars, but wont post mine until I want the benefit of selling them to you through the platform. I will also use your platform for views, leads, opinions and expertise.. I'm only here to benefit and nothing else, and I'm not shy to say it to your faces"

Hey keyboard ninja, your post really annoyed me.

I run a business, my work and personel vehicles park at my home, so if i post my business name or my vehicles its quiet easy via social engineering for criminals to come to me instead of been a victim of chance, and yes it has happened.

When you have to wash the blood of your employee of your driveway maybe your tune will change.

So if you think im a parasite for not posting pics well then you sir are moron.
