discussion G30 M550i i LCI rear badges

Hi All

A bit of a weird one but I recently acquired a 2021 M550i.

The first owner of the car had the rear badges removed (for whatever reason) and the second owner had the M550i badge installed on the boot, not the X-drive one though.

However, the M550i badge is not in the correct spot at all.

I am hoping that there is an owner of an LCI M550i in Gauteng with the badges in the original spot that will allow me to come stick some blue tape on their vehicle to create a template that I can use for my car.

I previously had this with a BM where the previous owner removed the side wing badges. Forsdicks BMW at the time, after being spoken to politely allowed me to come through to the dealership and make a template with blue painters tape.
If that fails, go to any large scrapyard and they will allow you to make a template from on of the stripping cars, just take a can of coke to "facilitate" the template manufacture.

Makes sense, biggest issue is finding one. Seems we have very few around. Currently 0 for sale.

That is really lovely, mine is Alpine White too but not the same car.
