Congrats Bru, what an absolute beauty. I

Its the perfect spec too, looked at many Macans before settling on the F85 X5M and couldn't find any within my budget with a quality spec like this.
Hope you enjoy it, as well as that new holiday home in Umhlanga, I grew up there and I miss it, but I do go up to visit my family every now and then.

Thank you much bro, been looking for some time for what I wanted. Patience paid off. I’m also looking forward to spending more time in Durban with friends and family.

Likewise!

@r0ckf1re The car looks amazing in person bro. I couldn't stop staring. Even the Fouche guys told Prash they want it :ROFLMAO:

Hahahaha no ways they can’t have it.

Thanks gents, appreciate it. Can’t wait to see it once Prash is done.

I see your radiator/condensor grilles (the ones below the headlights) are quite exposed. Would you consider fitting a mesh there? If you are, the body shop at PTA Porsche do a gloss black mesh retrofit. I used them on my Cayman.

Thanks. Will find out from Porche what they advise but prefer not to stick any mesh where it didn’t come with the car. Will see.

I'm sure the first thing you want do every morning is go out and have a blast

My only gripe is the basic VW pedals. A premium vehicle needs premium finishes.

Once my foot is on the pedals I don’t even see it

Had to go to Durban, decided to take the Macan.
Ride was extremely smooth, effortless and fuel consumption surprisingly good (10L/100) Set the cruise control to 130 most of the time. Had to reduce speeds in the 100km zones as the cops were out in full force. Didn’t have much spirited driving since the mileage was still low. Currently sitting at about 900kms and it’s already starting to feel much better. Had a few spirited sprints in Durban on Sports Plus. The dynamics are just addictive. She goes well, sounds great and handles amazingly. Comfort was excellent through out the trip. Had 4 medium size suitcases and the kids school bags fitting perfectly in the boot. Had to drive in some heavy rains and it feels so composed and handled the wet roads even at higher speeds comfortably. Returning to GP tomorrow, will be passing 1000kms on the clock and from what I hear, this is where the real fun starts.
