Back in a BMW - M4

Hi Guys, its been a while since I have been in a BMW. Many things in my life have happened its been a long road to get here, but finally been able to realize a dream since I first set eyes on a E36 M3. I always said that one day I would own an M car.

So the search started in September this year and while I was actively looking, could not find the right one at the right price, certainly not in CPT. My requirements was that it had to be a Comp, as stock as possible and still have some plan left on the car. Originally thought that was a fair and simple ask but definitely not the case!

Turn the clock to November and just about gave up and started thinking of other options when I came across one in JHB that ticked all the boxes. So without further rambling from me, here is my (new to me) 2018 F82 M4 Competition with only 37000kms on the clock and MP extended till 2025. Mind the dirty pics.

Any advise or tips and tricks and preventative maintenance will be highly appreciated. 🙏🏽

Dude well done..picked up mine 2 weeks ago. Not a comp..2019..34km on the clock. Fully loaded shadow trim. Extending the plan to 2025. The F82 was always a dream car for me.. nearly gave up on finding a decent one...wanted a 440 at first..then started looking at pre lci..then f80s..RS5s..nearly bought a 2015 F80..was absolutely stunning in the flesh..then this one came up..

Finding clean history M cars is not that easy..many phone calls..dealership sales staff not being upfront with car history was frustrating to say the least. Buying directly from a BMW dealership turned out to be the safer decision.

These lci models prices are absurd ..and will stay elevated due to the G8x prices being unattainable for most. Finding a low mileage f8x with plan that is.

Thanks Bud, yeah was quite a search and you right about dealers being upfront, the ads and the car in flesh are rarely the same. Everyone also "forgets" to mention any comments or work done on the car.

Also came very close to giving up on the search but got lucky and at a good price cause anything decent was @ a premium.

Congrats on your one, sure you loving it as well! Love the colour, White was going to be my first choice but struggled to find one.

Hey bud, was pretty good considering that I am in CPT and did the deal basically over the phone. Granted I had peeps in JHb check the car out for me. Also they were quite patient with me considering once the deal was done and numerous calls to get the car to CPT asap, lol.

Not much been done, or to report apart from I am like a kid again and look for any chance to drive the car...

Beauty and the beast below, think the Ranger got jealous, cause not even a week after the M arrived the boost pipe decided to pop off, lucky Ford was quick to assist...

Also took off the fugly numberplate holders, need to find better options, any suggestions in CPT?
