I've owned my F30 for 13 months and have only just discovered last night that the rev counter lights up on either side when its about to reach the limiter. Have you seen this..?

Update!

TL;DR - B58 is the best ever, and it is wonderful and everything about it is fantastic :ROFLMAO:

Not too much of an update. I am just about on 4000km of B58 pure enjoyment. Combined fuel consumption is 10.9l/100km. Safe to say I have adapted to it. I am no longer shocked to see double-digit fuel consumption figures, and the effortless power makes it worthwhile.

The engine doesn't get old. Not ever. It is SO good.

Few cosmetic updates - I decided to make the back look slightly more aggressive. Thanks to some @FiRi@Rennzport parts - Carbon Tips, and Rain light diffuser. I then wrapped the light in laminex so that it is more subtle when off. I am a big fan! I added a black 340i badge, and a small badge beneath it (wanted something to differentiate/depict the MPPSK, seeing as no external identifiers on 40i).

To round it off, I wrapped the slim boot spoiler in gloss black and really like the effect it gives off. I also have not seen such small spoilers on F30s so I like the unique factor too. I also wrapped the mirrors in gloss black.

V-bars wrapped in reflective blue. Pops a bit more now!

MPPSK is still impressing me. Even in 'stock'-guise, it is considerably stronger than stock 140s, despite the small weight difference.

A few pics with friends' cars!

Congrats on the car. Keen to know how much more power the mppsk provides, from what I've read it's 35HP/26kW. The mppsk was never available as an option for the 140 unfortunately, only the mpe. I see you mention it's 'considerably' stronger than stock 140's. Have you done a dyno comparison or are you assessing based on feel?

Looks wicked dude!
This car is just improving so much on every post, he spoiler looks lekker, same as the F80 M3s come stock but I think after that diffuser, you might end up putting a bigger one :) (Ha ha - order for Firi) :)

Can see the M14-is already worried about your comment :)

LINE IT UP and I'll show you! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

This is based off friends that I have had runs against. Blue one in my pics. Both cars have dp, and stock otherwise (I have MPPSK).

I'll get a dyno graph to confirm :)

Hehehe :) It will just be good information in general and for others too. Especially if someone doens't have the MPPSK installed and wants to considering getting it installed (I assume you can have it done at any time to a qualifying car). Not sure the cost but imo def a nice to have. If it was available for the 140i I would def have considered it (I did inquire with BMW about it a few months back). Glad I at least have the MPE. But ya, sweet ride and the MPPSK is def a nice addition to you car. Will be nice to see figures. Enjoy!

Power update 🤩

First to set the scene - BMW Claimed 245kw/450nm on the 340i (engine power) stock.
Add MPPSK, and the claimed engine power is 265kw/500nm.

Strapped her on the rollers at MDT (new Cobra Dyno), and made 291kw/606nm (engine power).

What absolutely blew my mind was that I then added E10 blend, and made....326kw/637nm. 35kw from E10! Thats what a tune yields sometimes. 🤣🤣 Not complaining

Wheel power is of course a lot more conservative (262wkw based on conversions), but I am well impressed at how understated the figures are from factory, and how well these respond to a little E.

That is all. 😎

Goodness that is insane power! You must be super chuffed. Why did they not do wheel power though? I know you can do a sort of conversion but its not an exact method as far as I know. MDT in Randburg? But congrats - based on those numbers the MPPSK is def worth it right!
