Hassan from HTE Performance will be doing the tune. He will connect remotely and tune the car on the dyno.

He is well known in the e46 M3 community for tuning this specific box. Been wanting him to tune my car for about 2 years now, but didn't see the point of it without actually doing a CSL box install.

Close enough, my Turner CSL box is the gloss version of the box. I also got the entire kit, which includes an original oem CSL filter from BMW as well as the original CSL vent hose. It also includes all the necessary sensors and wiring to do the conversion. No cutting of the MAF sensor or anything. The included harness attaches to the existing MAF and converts the MAF into an air temp sensor, which is then installed into the threaded insert inside the box for accurate air temp reading. The kit also has the CSL vacuum line and replaces the standard M3 line.

Included is also a CSL Map sensor conversion from Kassel performance to allow the car to run an original CSL tune.

Okay,

Finally got some time to open the Turner CSL box. First impressions....

VERY COOL.

Beautiful even. I've shot a video on it, but won't be uploading it just yet as I have a backlog of videos I want to upload for my car first.

This year saw a big change in my car and myself. Basically pulled the engine out and decided to refresh the car my way. I will start a new thread all about it. But with that being said, the car is up and running and driving the best it has ever driven.

Anyway, onto some quick cell phone snap shots of the airbox.

Is the branding inside the clear coat or can it be removed ? It’s such a beautiful piece of art and that sticker is so plain Jane and almost disrespectful to all the time and effort that went into that piece .

Yes can be removed. Am ordering original BMW one.

Thanks so much! Yeah, she sat for a long time whilst I was overseas with my career, and then during the Covid pandemic she just sat some more. I thought it was about time she got a full refresh and revival.

I Saw a video doing the rounds that had a m3 with turner airbox on the dyno. I’m guessing it’s yours as it looks like ur car on tune techs dyno.
