Exceptional vehicle. Also had a F30 330d, 2013 with all the nice stuff. But one question, how long does a rear set of tyres last you?

Update time

in September I got caught in a terrible hail storm which lasted all but 5 minutes but did some damage.
Thankfully my insurance covered everything except for the rear spoiler, I bought this from Firi and was excellent quality but I doubt any aftermarket plastic spoiler was going to get through this hail storm unscathed. anyway after pushing them and the panel beater pulling the dents out of my bonnet and not fitting a new one which they did cover, they agreed to cover half the cost if I fitted an OEM spoiler, I could choose between OEM plastic or carbon , I bit the bullet and went for the carbon one.
Big ups to @deago.parts@abmbmw for getting it within a day.

I am almost certain I saw you a couple weeks back on the N1 somewhere between Sunninghill and Beyers? You didn't want to play - was very upset as a fellow Alpine White 30d friend :ROFLMAO:

Ahhh! Yes, correct. Mind failing me. That is EXACTLY where it was. I was very upset you didn't come off at Empire. Car has such presence with those rims

Reached the milestone 100,000km last week , had another oil service done and took it for a nice roadtrip to Mpumalanga for some sight seeing.
had the most amazing fun on some of the best driving roads in SA, the R539 and R536 in particular.
unfortunately a minor causality: right side fog light picked up a crack

also took it in for a clay bar treatment and some polish as soon as i got back

Update: New Wheels

i bought these Style 704M 19" wheels over a year ago but never fitted them as they had some minor curb scuff, had them Diamond cut refurbed and fitted some new Michelin PS runflats.
i personally prefer the look with the Style 373M wheels but i must say the 19s are much more comfortable on our crappy roads.

Looking OEM+. Definitely right on the 19s, and the bi-colour is really nice. Gives the wheel nice 'depth' compared to a single colour

Since I temporarily relocated to KZN the 330d has been in storage for the last 3 months.
Daily driving the M4 was getting a bit much as I was consistently averaging 12l/100km and since the 30d was due for its annual service i saw it as a good opportunity to go back home get it done and come back with it.

Driving both cars on the same journey back to back i must say that the 330d is still highly capable, on the long open road the only thing i miss from the M4 are the seats and the noise, the DCT is also excellent but that said the 8speed auto is also still something to be admired.
safe to say i really missed this car with its effortless power and consumption.
