So I parked my 330d next to my bros 320d yesterday and I picked up something I didnt notice before and now I cant unseen it...:(
both are M sport and both have hexagon fog grill surrounds, however the 330d has an open vent on the right side only, the 320d has both closed
I recently had the bumper done because of stone chips and thought the panel shop may have put in an incorrect one on one of the sides but went through some old pics and its always been like this.
can fellow 330d members confirm this?

Spot on, good sir. Exactly the same - right side open channeling air to the auxiliary radiator.

Was having a look at @SylisM LCI 330i, looks like the right side vent is also open.

I would assume only the entry models (316i/318i/320i and 320d) have both sides closed?

I posted the link above but looks like the 330d/330i etc may have the additional cooler on the right side requiring the vent to be open.....
