In Alberton.
R7999 with installation + reverse camera and 1 year warranty
The website still shows it as a Android 7, but my model is Android 10
Thanks.
I was investigating intakes a while back and read that the diesel engines do not really benefit from an intake and also haven't seen any videos or heard any sound clips of it making a noticeable improvement in sound, in fact some vehicles made less power after installing even good brand intakes. Most people just recommend using a good OEM style filter@Technician have you done an intake on your car?
I am looking at fitting one in my car however cannot seem to find anything for a 320D.

If I may add - while BMW re-sprayed the front bumper (paint quality issues) and had it off the car I paid them to re-spray all three mesh sections matt black - I think its best to take them off the car if you have the opportunity. And yes it makes a nice difference and looks fresh again!Rather late to the party, but stumbled upon your thread now.
Awesome mods. Think they really compliment the car & overall.
The sprayed lower grills was quite a big one. Looks 100x better - especially with the gloss MP front diffuser. Did you just tape and mask everything off and just gooi spraypaint? I get spraying your intercooler and radiator a bit probably doesnt do too much harm. Or did you remove kidney grills and put newspaper behind the bumper for spray through the grills?
How has it held up? Assuming you didnt sand or anything. I know the spray paints now days are primer + paint, so maybe you used this?
Think this is a great colour change from that dull grey plastic.

Awesome - thank you for the response. It looks so so much better!hi,
regarding the lower grills, i sprayed them on the car, i did remove the kidney grills and covered the inter cooler as best i could.
i used the clear coat with built in primer specifically made for plastics.
cleaning and de-greasing the grills is your biggest job.
It has held up extremely well i must say.
Would need a fresh coat in the next year or so.
Can one still use this screen with the upgraded sound which has an external amp?
Could one still code HIFI TOP and make use of the MOST connector from the headunit to the external amp?

And to mention...it was the OP that gave me the final encouragement to do mine as well after I saw the OP's.![]()
On the intake point.same thing Viper said, no information regarding intakes for diesel.
I have a BMC flat panel filter
do it.......................On the intake point.
I do know a few people in the e90 platform that have done intakes, and the guy that built my exhaust is very keen on doing if on the f series.
Agreed, not a performance mod (certainly not bang for buck). But that said, it is very likely to result in some cool sounds.
Boys will be boys?
Hahaha volunteered as tribute!do it.......................
