Sheen is a spray on trim dressing that Shield makes. You cannot miss it they are in every grocery store and its dirt cheap at like R25 a can. I only use it on big sections of plastic or where my fingers cant reach. Its awesome for the engine bay - The 560SEC Merc I detailed last week took an entire can on just its engine bay! :rollsmile:

Mr MiniMike... please can you tell me what i can use to remove stains from my mags? i got the E90 sportsback wheels and it has like a permanent stain on it(it looks like brake pads dust).... its been there for a while now and i want to get it out.... any ideas asb???Cry

The staining, is it like little black dots? Or is all over the mag wheel like a tint?

If it is little black dots, you can grab some clay from Crazy Detailer and clay it off with loads of patience... Clay will probably work if the mag is tinted too but you can also try use a paint cleaner or decent polish on the rims to remove it too.

You dont perhaps have a few pictures you can post so I can try advise a bit better?

mine is getting the spots so i will try that. also my engine bay is very dusty but im scared to go in there with a hose. how should i tackle it? is a hose ok?

I suggest for the engine bay that you let the car be luke warm (Not on fire) and you use a light detergent or some soapy water and wash down the engine bay first.

Then let that sit for a few moments to work and then spray it down as you would the car but standing about 4 metres away from the car so it isnt too direct. I usually start the car up afterwards and let it idle for a bit as it helps drying.

Dont forget underneath the actual bonnet as that gets dirty too. :=):
