Hi there everyone,

So the day has come for a little sleepover at Excede.

As some of you might know I've been planning some work with them for the last week or so and I finally dropped off the car by Ashley this morning.

After having a chat with him he was kind enough to agree to send me a bunch of photos and info with all the work being done in order to share the experience and work with everyone here.

So, what's gonna happen:

Oil service
New plugs (2 Step colder)
XHP Stage 3 Gearbox map
Water Meth Install with a custom unit route to the driver side to hide it from the wifey, also hiding the bottle in the boot area (Don't judge me) :censored:
Xcede Custom tune

While I was there I pointed out a few things to Ashley on the car I want to get sorted and the Superman he is, then said that they could just as well jump on it for me while the car is there.

The extras:

Re-fit the roof spoiler (It's on the verge of flying off on the N1 as the tape started to come loose)
Cleaning of the Alcantara on the steering wheel
Rain light fixing, it decided to stop working recently
New Rennzport stickers, wearing them with pride and the current ones have seen better days.

The rims:

We also arranged for the mag repair guy to get the rims sorted with the curb rash they have while also doing a custom spray on them (Black and White), keep in mind this will also be happening at Xcede, these guys are just next level when it comes to service delivery and I can't praise Ashley enough.

At this point in writing, it should have been all there was for now, but photos started rolling in and like I said, we're gonna share it all and I'll keep updating you all on the process.

First and foremost, I am going to Ask Ashley to cut your power down on your car until you learn how to spell the name correctly... Xcede not Excede

Hey there, apologies for the delayed response here, been enjoying the car like never before ;) .

I think the easiest way to update this thread is to simply list the starting lists and give feedback on each of them.

Oil service:

Was done on the first day, pics in the first post

New plugs (2 Step colder):

Was done on the first day, pics in the first post

XHP Stage 3 Gearbox map:

For those who have it, you would know there's not much pics or info to give here besides how this completely changes the car, I know @AshG108 mentioned this a while back but after getting this done, words can not describe how big of a change it makes.

Water Meth Install:

I had a custom request here to have it on the driver side and not in the cubby as the default install and Xcede did a superb job, it's so clean that it could pass as a factory addon. As for the difference it makes performance-wise to the car it's also crazy, I'm blaming Ashley here since I can't get myself to drive without it now.

The additional plastic on the lid is my own personal preference ^^
I also went ahead and got myself a nice fuel transfer pump to get the Meth into the bottle without any problems or spillage.

Xcede Custom tune:

Ashley did 2 revisions here and in all honesty, I can without a doubt say that a custom tune gives way more power than an OTS tune. Even without the meth the car is so damn alive and has a brutal pull to it. The hardest thing at the moment is getting off the line without wheelspin, even while launching in second. Power wise the car has not been on a dyno yet but if the occasion ever comes up for a dyno day I'll be sure to get it there just for curiosity. I did however pick up a Mustang GT 5.0 on the N1 going home from town, black on black rims, cruising in the left lane so I pulled back to his speed to see if he might want to roll and it was almost instant when I got the bite. Pulled out to around 2 cars in front of him and then let off, he came up next to me shouting "Nog een, kar was nie in die regte mode nie" so we then rolled again and we got the same outcome. Then he showed 1 more and all three runs ended up with me pulling around 2-3 cars lengths away before letting off. I'm super happy with the outcome of everything.

Re-fit the roof spoiler - Good as new

Cleaning of the steering wheel - Good as new

Rain light fixing - It seems the LEDs of the light itself popped and it's all part of the rear diffuser so a very kak way of doing things here by the manufacturer, Ashley said we can do a custom job here the next time the car goes to them.

New Rennzport stickers - Was done on the first day, pics in the first post

The rims:

I wanna take time once again to thank Ashley from Xcede for the work done and most importantly the entire experience of dealing with them, making one feel at home.

Our next plans for the near future will be heading in the Hybrid turbo direction but I'll be sure to keep everyone posted.
