Would love to see BMW make this with the M5 CS power plant.
theyve got a car for every segment of the market but "an entry level supercar" , something to rival the R8 and GT3 🤔

It is actually a valid question. If Audi has the R8 and Mercedes the AMG GT, why does BMW not make something similar...The i8 was maybe not as successful as BMW wanted it to be, maybe it was too far ahead of its time. Yes there is the G15, but it is hardly sports car, more of a coupe version of the 7 and weighs literal tons

I dont see BMW making a sports car, even if they did, it would be some overweight parts bin special

Agree the i8 was probably ahead of its time or maybe just confusing, it came out when combustion engines were at their peak. while the R8 had a V10 ,BMW thought a 1.5l+ hybrid would rival it 🤔

Audi are ending the R8 with this gen and mercs AMG GT is more of 911 competitor than a legitimate supercar.
